Important News Regarding the Companies Act 2006
The Companies Act 2006
has changed the law for companies. These changes affect every company operating
in the United Kingdom. Passed in 2006, the Act reached the final stage of
implementation on 1st October 2009. Three of the key changes are shown below.

Companies House forms
have changed from 1st October 2009. e-series business has been updated to
accommodate these form changes.
The Act has also made changes to filing requirements for
directors' addresses.
Directors are required to file both a service address and a usual residential
address, which will be held on a restricted register at Companies House.
All Companies House
accounts filing deadlines
have been reduced by one month. Experian's scorecards and products have been
updated to reflect this.
