Experian collects approximately 17,000 fuel prices every day from every petrol station in the UK that accepts fuel cards.
How can we help you?
Our Fuel Price service allows organisations to view price changes on garage forecourts across the country, facilitating a clearer understanding of price competition around a site. The displayed prices for each grade of fuel are obtained from fuel card transactions made on the forecourt the day before.
A few key facts
- Prices per litre are provided for super unleaded, unleaded, LRP, diesel and LPG fuels.
- The Fuel Price service is used by suppliers, forecourts and independent garage operators to monitor fluctuations in fuel prices at a local level, so that they can remain competitive in their pricing.
- The database is available by outlet accummulated counts or summarised reports that provide historical as well as a current view of fuel prices across the country. The data is also available for mapping, using Experian's Micromarketer Generation 3 software.
