It collects information on over 130,000 sites with information covering location, forecourt fuelling and shop facilities, site layouts and size, operation standards, ownership and brand, shop turnover and fuel sales volume.

A few key facts
- Experian Catalist has surveyed fuel retail locations in more than 16 countries across three continents since 1993. This experience has not only enabled Experian to identify the items of information that are most important in terms of managing and developing networks, but has resulted in the development of tried and tested techniques to capture and maintain the data.
- Experian's international team of experienced surveyors visit sites daily to record key information. Using the latest electronic data capture technology, information is updated online to a central database. This real-time data capture enables rapid delivery of the latest business information to clients. To complement site surveys, telephone research ensures the verfication of the entire database annually.
- Available for use via our bureau, may be licensed for use in-house within your own database or mapping software or can by purchased within Experian’s Micromarketer Generation3 local analysis and mapping software.
